It feels like just yesterday I was moving my shears, color bowls, and big dreams into Bungalow Salon. Yet, here we are—officially celebrating one full year in this incredible space!
If you’ve read my older posts, you know I’ve always struggled with staying consistent, keeping up with schedules, and fighting off that inner voice telling me I’m falling behind. But this milestone? It hits different. This past year has shown me that growth isn't about being perfect; it's about showing up. This milestone is about so much more than just a physical location; it’s a celebration of the community we’ve built together. Every single conversation, shared laugh, and hair transformation in my chair this year has meant the absolute world to me.

It was such a joy to collaborate with another local pro and spoil you guys. Updates on Van
Many of you have become like family to me over the years, constantly checking in on my son, Van, as he navigates Marine bootcamp. I owe you an honest update. To put it simply: Even with his medical setback he is absolutely crushing it.
While this broke my heart a bit for him, it’s for the best possible reason—he is entirely focused on healing. His femur and shin are mending well, and he’s on a solid, steady track to be back at 100% soon. Your positive thoughts, texts, and "good vibes" are definitively working. Thank you for riding these waves with me; I’ll keep you posted as we hear more.
